About the Job
Clinical Supervisor
Talk. Heal. Thrive. Psychotherapy

About This Opportunity:
Talk. Heal. Thrive. Psychotherapy is seeking a licensed clinical supervisor to join our growing telehealth group practice serving clients throughout Washington State. This is a W-2 position. We are specifically looking for an LMFT clinician, with AAMFT Approved Supervisor designation strongly preferred. We will consider LMHC and LICSW's as well.

This is a supervisor-only role. Supervisors do not see clients or carry clinical hours through THT. If you have your own private practice or another clinical role elsewhere, you are welcome — and encouraged — to apply. This position is designed to fit alongside your existing clinical work.

As a clinical supervisor, you'll provide individual supervision to our associate clinicians and master's-level interns, helping them develop their clinical skills while building their caseloads. This is an excellent opportunity to mentor the next generation of therapists while maintaining flexibility in your schedule.

Position Overview:
This is a flexible, fully remote, supervision-only role. You'll set your own hours within the structure of your supervisees' needs, and we'll match supervisee assignments to your availability and interests. THT does not assign clients to supervisors and does not require or offer clinical hours as part of this role.

Note: This position is fully remote, but you must be based in Washington State.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide weekly 1:1 supervision to assigned master's-level intern supervisees.
  • Provide bi-weekly 1:1 supervision to associate-licensed clinicians (LMFTA, LMHCA, LSWAIC).
  • Review and co-sign clinical documentation.
  • Guide clinical case conceptualization and treatment planning.
  • Support supervisee professional development.
  • Submit master's student evaluations for intern programs.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings.
  • One weekday evening on call between 5-9pm.
  • Provide additional clinical support to supervisees outside scheduled supervision as needed (case consultations, crisis support, documentation review).

Supervisee Caseload:
We ask supervisors to commit to a minimum of 4 supervisees. Building a supervisee caseload takes time, and we'll support you in growing it.

Time commitment expectation: Beyond your scheduled supervision hours, plan on roughly 1 additional paid hour per week per supervisee for documentation review, notes co-signing, and ad-hoc clinical support.

Compensation:
  • $70/hour — Standard supervision rate for LMHC, LICSW and LMFT without the AAMFT supervisor designation.
  • $75/hour — For LMFT supervisors who hold an active AAMFT Approved Supervisor designation.
  • This rate covers all supervision-related work: scheduled supervision sessions, note co-signing, documentation review, and supervision-adjacent clinical support.
  • Additional supervision activities approved as needed.

What We Offer as a W-2 employee:
  • Flexible Schedule — Set your own supervision hours around your existing commitments, including private practice or other clinical work.
  • Fully Remote (WA-based) — Conduct all supervision via our secure HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform; supervisor must reside in Washington State.
  • Supportive Team — Collaborative practice with strong administrative support and infrastructure.
  • 401(k) — Eligible after 90 days.
  • Technology Stipend — $25/month Support for your remote work setup.
  • Sick Leave — 1 hour accrued for every 40 hours worked.

Position Requirements:
Credentials & Licensure Strongly preferred:
  • Active Washington State LMFT license.
  • AAMFT Approved Supervisor designation (qualifies for the $75/hour rate).

May also be considered:
  • Active Washington State LMHC or LICSW with minimum 2 years post-licensure clinical experience and prior supervision experience or a desire to become a supervisor with mentorship from our supervision team.
  • Approved Supervisor designation from the relevant licensing board.

All candidates must:
  • Reside in Washington State.
  • Hold an active, unrestricted Washington State license in their respective discipline.

Technical Requirements:
  • Private, confidential space for telehealth sessions.
  • Computer with camera for video supervision.
  • Reliable high-speed internet.
  • Comfort with electronic health record systems.

Ideal Qualities:
  • Passion for mentoring and developing new clinicians.
  • Strong clinical skills and ethical foundation.
  • Clear, supportive communication style.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Interest in working with a variety of clinical presentations.

Who You'll Supervise:
  • Master's-Level Interns — Students from COAMFTE and CACREP accredited programs completing practicum and internship requirements.
  • Associate Clinicians — Licensed associates (LMFTA, LMHCA, LSWAIC) working toward full licensure.
